I’m from Haiti myself, so I know how much humanitarian work can help… it`s amazing.

hey, I am a high school senior (12th grade), and I really want to dedicate my life for the Humanitarian works, but I have very limited undergraduate university major choices, I mean, I plan on studying Business Administration concentrating on management, then I can study Public Administration or/and International Development as post graduate ( Masters ),
so would that be a good path to work in that field (Humanitarian work) ?, if not what are my options ?

Hey Karim — thanks for your comment. Check out the Humanitarian Careers page for more information on the kinds of jobs that are out there, and the options available to you. Try getting in touch with some of the programs listed here to get a sense of their prerequisites. And remember that gaining field experience is usually more important than having a Masters, when it comes to getting your first job. Good luck!

I am a PhD student in Human Services – specializing in Policy Analysis and Planning and I have always had a strong desire to help uplift humanity. I am hopeing to use my experience and education; if these organizations will have me.
